The RallyRACC Catalonia – Costa Dorada is aware of the environmental impact it generates and, within the framework of its firm commitment to sustainability, applies measures every year to reduce it. This pledge awarded them the recognition of the FIA ​​in environmental matters in terms of excellence.

In the last edition, the carbon footprint generated by the race was calculated. The results showed that 62.51% of this impact was generated by the attendee’s transportation. For this reason, in this year’s edition, the RallyRACC Catalonia – Costa Dorada offers its attendees a tool to calculate and offset their carbon footprint from their participation in 4 simple steps.

Attendees can access the offsetting portal through the RACC WRC website , the official App, and the service information point in Port Aventura.

They just need to fill in the means of conveyance used, the origin and destination and they get a result of the impact on tons of CO2. At the end of the process, they can choose between a selection of projects to offset their carbon footprint, which contribute to a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and a great social value in the place where it is developed.

All attendees of the RallyRACC Catalonia – Costa Dorada that offset their carbon footprint will receive a Clean CO2 certificate that certifies their neutrality status and their commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
